EXCURSION MODULE
It is a new cultural landscape that originated from the somatic dance inspired by the landscape of Kiwanis Park of Rouyn-Noranda in Canada. It is about representing the cultural landscape using somatics in its entirety, which itself relies on digital technology, to further trace the beauty of ecological diversity and capture the dance moves on the territory of Abitibi-Témiscamingue. The openness and inclusiveness of the region will inevitably give rise to new cultural “genes”.
This time, Jie (Jayé) Yu, transmits his interculturality instead of showing his enthusiasm and his respect for nature through somatic dance. In particular, he expresses his attachment to the charming terrain of Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Excursion module is his very recent project which makes you discover a dynamic panorama, and invites you to share an interrelation between the human being and the nature of Kiwanis.
